Haven Health Clinic
Haven Health Clinic, formerly the Pregnancy Center of Rome, is a beacon of hope for Rome/Floyd County and the surrounding areas. They have served over 8,800 patients since opening in 1986. They provide free pregnancy testing, limited ultrasounds, pregnancy counseling, educational classes (in pregnancy, parenting, and other life skills), and a baby boutique. |
.All Area Cross Country Banquet
The Thursday before the race, GoGoRunning holds the annual All Area XC Banquet to honor Northwest Georgia's best runners of the season and hear from a guest speaker. Past speakers include Ryan Hall, Sara Hall, Paul Chelimo, Zola Budd, Michelle Abernathy Lane, and David Herren. |
Local High School Cross Country Programs
Local high schools, both within and outside of Rome/Floyd County, are invited to sign up to volunteer at or run either race (half marathon or 5K). The school that has the most volunteers and runners receives the largest check for their program; the school with the second most receives the second largest; and so on. For some smaller schools, the money donated from this race is a large percentage of their budget. We ensure larger schools do not monopolize the smaller ones. |
